How We Ranked These
Most "best gun mods" lists are guesswork. This one isn't: we run a mod platform, so we ranked every gun addon in our guns collection by what players actually downloaded over the last 90 days β more than 12,000 downloads across 28 weapon addons, tested on an iPhone 13 and a Series S over the past months of updates. Every pick below installs as a standard .mcaddon on Bedrock 1.21, and every download link is one click, no ad mazes.

1. Actual Guns β the definitive Bedrock arsenal

If you only install one gun mod, it's this one β and our download data agrees: 1,500+ downloads in the last 90 days, more than the next two picks combined. The 6th Anniversary edition packs 100+ items: pistols, shotguns, assault rifles and snipers, all with real 3D models, reload animations and sound design that makes a bow feel prehistoric.
It's also the heaviest pack on this list (~26 MB plus a companion pack), and on phones older than 3β4 years you'll feel it. If that's you, jump to #3.
- Size: 25.6 MB + 203 KB Β· Rating: 4.9
- Best for: players who want the complete modern-firearms experience
Download Actual Guns
100+ firearms with 3D models and animations. Free .mcaddon for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get Actual Guns →2. Modern Weapons Arsenal β full loadout, tiny download

The people's choice: nearly as many downloads as Actual Guns at a tenth of the size. Modern Weapons trades some visual polish for a complete, well-balanced arsenal that runs smoothly on basically anything. Ammo actually matters here β you'll manage magazines instead of spraying forever, which keeps survival mode tense instead of trivial.
- Size: 2.3 MB + 115 KB Β· Rating: 4.8
- Best for: the best guns-per-megabyte ratio on Bedrock
Download Modern Weapons Arsenal
A full modern arsenal in a 2 MB addon. Free .mcaddon for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get Modern Weapons →3. Simple Guns β 3D firearms for older phones

Under one megabyte total, and still fully rendered 3D weapons. Simple Guns is what we recommend when someone's little brother wants guns on a hand-me-down tablet: it installs in seconds, doesn't lag, and changes combat completely. Over 1,000 players took it in the last 90 days β third place is no accident.
- Size: 572 KB + 94.6 KB Β· Rating: 4.8
- Best for: low-end devices and quick setups
Download Simple Guns
Fully 3D firearms in under 1 MB. Free packs for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get Simple Guns →4. Simple Nuke β one button, one crater

Not a gun, strictly speaking β a warhead. Simple Nuke adds a craftable nuclear bomb with a blast radius measured in chunks. It's the addon you install for one glorious afternoon of levelling a mountain range, and our numbers say plenty of people do exactly that. Fair warning from testing: the explosion can freeze weaker devices for several seconds. Save first.
- Size: 17 MB Β· Rating: 4.5
- Best for: demolition days and cursed screenshots
Download Simple Nuke
A craftable nuke with a massive blast radius. Free .mcaddon for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get Simple Nuke →5. AceEntities β anime weapons and supernatural tech

The wildcard of the list. AceEntities mixes futuristic firearms with anime-inspired weapons and supernatural creatures, so it doubles as a content expansion, not just a gun pack. Heads-up from our testing and player reports: multiplayer can get janky with the AI-heavy entities β this one shines brightest in single-player worlds.
- Size: 4.8 MB Β· Rating: 4.7
- Best for: anime fans who want weapons and new mobs
Download AceEntities
Anime-style weapons, futuristic tech and creatures. Free .mcaddon for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get AceEntities →6. Crossbattles β built for PvP servers

Where the first five picks are survival-first, Crossbattles is a PvP kit: tactical firearms tuned for player-versus-player shootouts on custom maps. Weapon balance is the star β no single gun dominates, so fights come down to positioning and aim. Load it on a flat arena world with three friends and it's the best hour of Minecraft you'll have this week.
- Size: 2.5 MB Β· Rating: 4.6
- Best for: PvP arenas and minigame maps
Download Crossbattles
Balanced tactical guns for PvP battles. Free .mcaddon for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get Crossbattles →7. Hoof Weapons β the wild-west loadout

Four frontier guns, two cowboy hats, zero assault rifles. Hoof Weapons is small and it knows exactly what it wants to be: the roleplay pack for western worlds. Pair it with a plains seed and a horse and the vibe is immaculate.
- Size: 894 KB + 56 KB Β· Rating: 4.7
- Best for: western roleplay and themed servers
Download Hoof Weapons
Wild-west revolvers and cowboy hats. Free packs for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get Hoof Weapons →8. Flint and Locks β frontier guns that stay balanced

Shotguns and revolvers that replace bows and crossbows instead of stacking on top of them β which keeps survival difficulty intact rather than trivializing it. Nice touch: bullets interact with the world, shattering glass and chains. This is the pick for players who want firearms without breaking game balance.
- Size: 827 KB Β· Rating: 4.7
- Best for: balanced survival playthroughs
Download Flint and Locks
Balanced frontier firearms that replace bows. Free .mcaddon for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get Flint and Locks →9. Battlegrounds β guns plus a whole game mode

The most ambitious entry: Battlegrounds turns your world into a loot-and-survive shooter. No mining, no building β you scavenge abandoned buildings for weapons and food while hostile raiders hunt you. It's the closest Bedrock gets to a battle-royale feel from a single addon.
- Size: 659 KB + 2.04 MB Β· Rating: 4.8
- Best for: PUBG-style sessions with friends
Download Battlegrounds
Scavenge, fight and survive against raiders. Free packs for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get Battlegrounds →10. Heavy Weaponry Arsenal β defend the base

Guns for your base, not your hotbar: automated turrets, rocket launchers, laser guns and landmines. Every weapon has a real tradeoff β landmines are devastating but chew through blocks, and there are non-destructive variants when you'd rather keep the walls. Great endgame layer on top of any of the handheld packs above.
- Size: 2.15 MB Β· Rating: 4.7
- Best for: base defense and raid-proofing
Download Heavy Weaponry
Turrets, rockets, lasers and landmines. Free .mcaddon for Bedrock 1.21+.
Get Heavy Weaponry →Also worth a look
Three more from the guns collection that just missed the cut: Too Much TNT (708 downloads β 50 new explosive types if Simple Nuke isn't enough), Modern Warfare Tanks (drivable armor to pair with any gun pack), and More Swords for players who want better melee alongside their firearms.
Installing gun mods on Bedrock
The short version: download the .mcaddon, open it, Minecraft imports it, then enable the behavior + resource packs in your world settings and switch on Experimental Gameplay (Beta APIs). Full walkthrough with screenshots for every platform: how to install mods on Minecraft Bedrock.
Two tips from our own testing:
- Enable Experiments before generating the world β toggling them on an existing world works, but a fresh world avoids 90% of "guns are invisible" issues.
- One arsenal at a time. Big packs like Actual Guns and Modern Weapons both remap similar items; running them together can produce broken recipes. Pick your main, add specialty packs (Nuke, Heavy Weaponry) on top.
Every mod on this list β and 18 more weapon addons we couldn't fit β lives in our free gun mods collection, each with screenshots, file sizes and a one-click download.
